LED Light Works Compliancy Standards

Most electrical and electronic devices are required to be compliant with regulatory arrangements for electromagnetic compatibility specified by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).
Luminaries are no exception, and all lighting equipment sold in Australia must comply with applicable standards. Manufacturers of electrical products must submit their products for relevant testing to ensure that they meet ACMA’s EMC standards. In addition compliance documents are to be maintained and a declaration of conformity must be signed by the supplier which asserts that the device in question meets the applicable standard.
Manufacturers who comply with ACMA regulations are issued both a supplier number “N1234” and the ability to use the “C-Tick” compliancy mark.
LED Light Works is ACMA supplier N26539 and we display the C-Tick prominently on our packaging and our products:
Consumers should look for this mark when purchasing LED lighting in Australia. LED Light Works also conforms to several other standards including CE, RoHS, KEMA, and FCC. However, the C-Tick as displayed above, is the benchmark for compliance within Australia, and is mandatory for integrated LED lamps sold in this country.
