LED Light Works is a small and dynamic wholesaler of LED general illumination products to commercial, industrial, government and retail markets in Australia and Canada.

LED lights are an efficient, green and safe alternative to traditional lighting sources like incandescent or fluorescent technology. We currently have products for most applications which typically retrofit into current infrastructure, providing our clients significant electrical savings and an environmentally responsible lighting alternative.

Our products are of the highest standard and we are one of the few LED wholesalers who have attained the C-TICK (EMC & radio-communications compliance) from the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

LED Light Works has an exciting business opportunity for a self motivated and experienced sales representative who is looking for a role that they can make their own. Essentially the successful candidate will be operating their own business within ours, with the potential to establish a lucrative income selling an exciting, cutting edge product to a virtually limitless market.

The role requires an independent, self motivated, vibrant and friendly person who enjoys autonomy and who has a high level of commitment, organisation and communication skills. The position requires a candidate to have at least two year sales experience with prior electrical or lighting experience highly regarded.

You will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Confident, well presented, self-motivated with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Competence with CRM software (Highrise)
  • A great attitude – and a positive outlook on life

To succeed in this role you will need to:

  • Be an excellent communicator and relationship builder.
• Be prepared to proactively seek out new business via cold calling & networking
  • Understand & manage a large portfolio of products & services
  • Work as part of team, sharing knowledge and experience with other representatives
• Achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Maximise sales through timely and diligent follow-up on leads and opportunities

We offer a supportive and friendly team and will provide full product training and the tools to create your success. You will provide passion, commitment and the experience to excel and achieve sales goals.

Training will be provided, but additional independent study in the following areas is recommended:
LED technology and history
LED Light Works product portfolio and applications
LED Light Works services
LED Light Works sales methodology

You will need your own transport and a valid drivers license as there is a basic level of travel required.
